I'm continuing my quest to find a time and cost-effective way to bring color to the 'Night Craft' series. I'm hoping to find a technique that really achieves the look I have in mind for the comics. I think I'm getting closer with this drawing, basically just a colored sketchbook drawing. I want the line work to convey a lot of the shading and texture, just use color to back that up and set the atmosphere of the piece. I'm also a big fan of strong highlights, so that's coming through better with color. And yes, I am a dinosaur, so using a noise filter helps me achieve that grainy, laserdisc image quality that I hope will work nicely for the stories.

I like the Sepia tone which embellishes the illustration. It hides a creative side which the artist seamlessly placed to the sketch. I hope that more artist would do the same. Creativity is what makes the world revolve, paving an avenue towards a better civilization. We may not seem to see it but these things are the melting pot for our society to thrive and grow. However, some nations do not adopt this kind of thinking, allowing society to cripple over time.
