Some relevant information about me as an illustrator: I love to work traditionally. My comics are penciled and inked by hand, but I've also embraced digital technology as an addition to traditional methods. My digital paintings start out as pencil drawings, then I use my pencil lines and shadings as a guide for the digital brushes.
Clients are involved in the project every step of the way. All stages of the process are sent to the client so they can request changes or take it in a different direction. I work hard to deliver the project in a timely manner and fulfill all expectations.
Now onto the personnel details, which are hopefully a little bit interesting...
I've lived in a few different places: Libya, until I was almost four; England, until I was almost six; and a few different states in the US, Connecticut, South Carolina, Georgia, and North Carolina.
While a small child living in England, I had many major life discoveries: School was not my friend. Tom Baker in 'Doctor Who' is way better than any TV show made for kids, I can't turn off my imagination and drawing on the walls is not a proper forum for artistic expression. Also, I learned not to tempt any giant beetle that shows up in the garden. If memory serves me correctly my Dad's tool kit was involved in removing the beetle.
I have a wide range of tastes: most of the fiction books I read are considered the classics, most of the movies I watch are B-movies. I love the trash and the treasure and hopefully they both influence my work.
I really like my self-published comic book series, 'Night Craft'. At least in some little way I am always working on the next issue.
