These are some of the sketches I did at the con last weekend. The first two were done in my sketchbook, mainly to practice using a type of inking pen I'm not too familiar with. The bottom two were two of the many free sketches I did. These never got picked up, so if anyone recognizes them, send me a message and I'll get your sketch in the mail to you!

If you're in the Greenville, SC area, I'll be at the show tomorrow with copies of the latest issue of "Night Craft" at table #226!
I've started work on the seventh issue of "Night Craft". These are some thumbnails to the main story in the issue. Also planned for this issue is a back up story featuring the further adventures of Leroy Strife! I'll be posting a lot more updates as I work on this one!
So most of my work is usually at least partially traditional, but sometimes I end up working fully digitally. That was the case with these illustrations produced as part of a series for a marketing campaign. The color illustrations were produced using Affinity Designer. The sketches show some of the ideas that went into creating these illustrations.
I've posted this entire issue for you to read free, until about March 23rd (The print copies should be available around then). Click here to read it as a gallery or as a PDF.
Edit- 3/24 The print version is now out and I'll be posting where it's available in the near future. |
